Here's the thing...

my brain...well it's been sort of

See...I started My World in January of 2011 with BIG dreams...but somewhere along the road to achieving those dreams, I lost track of where I really wanted to take My World.

I found myself crafting for EVERYONE ELSE...not for ME...

trying to 'one up' all the other blogs...be the first to make something FOR ONCE!

Know where that got me?!?

NOWHERE!

QUICK!!!

Now, don't get me wrong!  

The creations you see on My World today are truly loved...by me!

ESPECIALLY the creations I am making now that I am back from my much needed bloggy break!

But by letting go of ME just to get noticed or to get a bigger following

 I ended up with a bunch of supplies to make things that I clearly had no desire to make...

{otherwise, they wouldn't still be sitting in bins in my craft room...RIGHT?!?}

Heck...I even won a room makeover that while I am so grateful to my readers, family and friends for helping me win {I did feel the love} ended up just not being me!  The experience was interesting...but it left me feeling as though I {my creativity, my self, my style, ME} was pushed off the teeny pedestal I had made for myself and I ended up in the dumps!  Felt like something was wrong with me because I didn't seem to like what a huge majority of bloggers seemed to like...didn't feel that by following trends just to fit in was me being true to myself...and when I finally voiced my opinions and started making things ME again, I felt shunned...even got some nasty emails!

So...

my excitement for blogging quickly became my lack of excitement for BLAHgging...and
ended up draining me of my ALL creative juices and left me with a huge inferiority complex!

I know...I know...stop my BOO~HOOin' right?!?

I'm really NOT trying to bum anyone out...

My goal here is to 'splain myself and some things that you'll soon see around this world!

To the point...

I am DONE trying to 'Keep Up With The Joneses' per se!

From here on out...you are going to get nothing but PURE, RAW, CRAZY Jessica!

I'm going to be ME!

 NONSTOP!

I'm gonna make what I want to!

And if someone else had already made it and blogged about it...

I'm gonna make it anyway!

Cuz no one can write a post like ME...cuz MY posts are MINE!

So...I plan to...

for the entire month of MARCH!

{you know...since March is National Craft Month and all!}

BUT...

I am going to TRY to share home improvements and DIY projects more often...
but these can get a little pricey and we are sort of on a Spending Freeze right now!

You'll definitely see more Kid Crafts coming your way
...cuz Little Miss DIVA is getting into crafting and baking...BIG TIME!!!

She has a bucket of Duck Tape and Perler Beads just waiting for some action!

I am going to share a bit more about ME and MY STORY...
because, well, it might be nice for y'all to know how I became the kookie Jessica I am today!
AND at least 7 of you want to know more about me!
My story may shock some of you...
may make some of you realize we are more alike than you had thunk...
may make some of you think I'm a nut job!
I'll be updating my 'About Me' - or 'My World' - page soon...keep an eye out for that!

And I will ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS share baking shtuff and recipes...cuz I like food!
